Sree is a 4th year in the College studying Economics and Computer Science. Last summer, he worked for Goldman Sachs in its Investment Banking Division in New York and, in prior summers, has interned with Morgan Stanley and the Federal Reserve Bank. Sree's interests include minimalist fashion, tennis, and hip-hop music.



Executive Vice President

John is a 4th year in the McIntire School of Commerce concentrating in finance and accounting. Prior to co-founding VFI, John was actively involved with Virginia Consulting Group. This past summer, John worked at CCMP Capital in New York, NY. This coming year, he will be joining The Blackstone Group as full-time private equity analyst in New York, NY. In his free time, John enjoys fitness, reading, and cooking.



VP of Education

Cara is a 3rd year in the McIntire School of Commerce concentrating in finance with a minor in Computer Science. Besides VFI, she is a member of CASH through Madison House as a Program Director. This summer, she worked at the University of Virginia Investment Management Company (UVIMCO) in Charlottesville alongside Jeannie. In her free time, she enjoys watching Marvel movies, traveling the world, and drinking apple juice.



VP of Corporate Relations

Jocelyn is a 3rd year in the McIntire School of Commerce concentrating in Finance and IT. At UVA, she is actively involved with Smart Woman Securities and Madison House. She has had internship experience in private equity, private banking, and wealth management, and is interning at a hedge fund in Hong Kong this summer. Outside of academia, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and serving local communities in SE Asia. 



VP of Technology

Adit is a 3rd year in the Engineering school double majoring in Systems Engineering and Economics. On grounds, he is heavily involved in SEED and Colonade Capital. Last summer, he worked at Capital One as a business analyst and is looking forward to returning next summer.  In his free time, Adit enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee and watching League of Legends Esports. 



VP of Events and Promotions

Nathan is a 4th year in the McIntire School of Commerce concentrating in Finance and IT with a double major in mathematics. At UVA, Nathan is a Program Director for CASH amongst other involvements. He hopes to bring his recruitment and organizational operations experience to VFI. Last summer, Nathan interned at Capital One in their PM&A program in McLean. This summer, he’ll work as an investment banking summer analyst at J.P. Morgan in New York. In his spare time, Nathan coaches an elite high school prep baseball team in Charlottesville, and he’s also a scrupulous movie critic. Nathan’s also the proud owner of approximately two malnourished plants.



VP of Financial Analysis

Jeannie is a 3rd year Echols scholar majoring in Commerce (with a concentration in Finance) and Economics, and minor in Global Sustainability. She is heavily involved with the Alternative Investment Fund at McIntire, serving as the Chief Operating Officer. Last summer, she worked as a business and sales development intern for To The Market, a company aiming to expand ethical supply chains in the everyday life of consumers, and next summer will work as an investment analyst at the University of Virginia Investment Management Corporation (UVIMCO). Outside of her studies, she enjoys running and creative writing.

Frank is a 4th year in the College studying Economics and Statistics. Outside of VFI, he is an active member of the McIntire Investment Institute. Last summer, he interned at the Investment Banking division of RBC Capital Markets in New York. In his free time, Frank enjoys watching soccer games, and traveling.



VP of Financial Analysis

Matthew is a 3rd year commerce student from Jacksonville, FL. He plans to concentrate in finance and accounting. He has a passion for finance and is active in GMG. Last summer, he interned at UBS Wealth Management. Outside of VFI and school, he enjoys skiing, trail running, and guitar.


Stefan Bello

Teaching Coordinator

Stefan is a 4th year in the McIntire School of Commerce concentrating in finance and information technology, from Oak Ridge, NC. Stefan transferred directly into McIntire in the Fall of 2018 and is involved in the McIntire Accounting Society outside of VFI. This past Spring Stefan studied banking and finance in Switzerland at the University of St. Gallen and worked in EY’s valuation, modeling and economics group in Tysons, VA this past summer. Stefan’s interests include soccer, dogs, and being in the sun.
